Meet Angelina
18-year-old Aussie-British artist Angelina Curtis is emerging as a standout voice in Australia’s indie scene, known for her alt-indie pop ballads and emotionally raw songwriting – fragile, yet charged with edge. A keys-based multi-instrumentalist with over half a million Spotify streams, she’s performed at RAC Arena, and on national TV as a top 8 finalist on Australian Idol, earning comparisons to Lizzy McAlpine and Australia’s Esha Tewari. With a WAM Song of the Year win and international songwriting honours her original music is gaining attention – and features in Australian films. Angelina’s angelic yet powerful voice has captured attention across major platforms including Kyle & Jackie O, Triple J Unearthed, ABC, The Music, PerthNow, and many more.
Angelina is also a well regarded actor, known for starring alongside Kate Walsh (international stage and screen star) in 'Mary Stuart', the headline play of Perth Festival 2022 at the age of 14. During a Covid-affected 2021, she also filmed the lead role in 2022 indie feature film, Cherubhead, for which she received a Best Actress nomination in Europe's Septimius Film Awards.
